Elton is a Certified Public Accountant with the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA).

He has more than 15 years of experience working in Big Four audit firms in Singapore, Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands.

His area of expertise includes asset and fund management, infrastructure, oil and gas, manufacturing and trading, retail, hotel management, real estates, many other industry.
